Holy Qur’an – Book of Man or God? – YOU DECIDE !!! (Do you think a man could have known these things 1400 years ago?)

Scientific Fact # 1 (The Layers of the Earth)

 

One item of information about the Earth given in the Qur’an is its similarity to the seven-layered sky:

 

It is Allah Who created the seven heavens and of the earth the same number, the Command descending down through all of them, so that you might know that Allah has power over all things and that Allah encompasses all things in His knowledge. (Qur’an, 65:12)

 

The information in the above verse is confirmed in scientific sources, wherein it is explained that the Earth consists of seven strata. These, as scientists have identified, are:

 

1st layer: Lithosphere (water)

 

2nd layer: Lithosphere (land)

 

3rd layer: Asthenosphere

 

4th layer: Upper Mantle

 

5th layer: Inner Mantle

 

6th layer: Outer Core

 

7th layer: Inner Core

 

 

Scientific Fact # 2 (THE IDENTITY IN THE FINGERPRINT)

 

 

Everyone, including identical twins, have a unique fingerprint. In other words, people’s identities are coded at their fingertips. This coding system may also be compared to the bar code system that is used today.

 

While it is stated in the Qur’an that it is easy for Allah to bring man back to life after death, peoples’ fingerprints are particularly emphasized:

 

Yes, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. (Qur’an, 75:4)

 

The emphasis on fingerprints has a very special meaning. This is because shapes and details on everyone’s fingerprint are unique to each individual. Every person who is alive or who has ever lived in this world has a set of unique fingerprints. Furthermore, even identical twins having the very same DNA sequence have their own set of fingerprints.

 

Fingerprints attain their final shape before birth and remain the same for a lifetime unless a permanent scar appears. That is why fingerprints are accepted as a very important proof of identity, exclusive to their owner. The science of fingerprints has been used as a non-erring identity determination method.

 

However, what is important is that this feature of fingerprints was only discovered in the late 19th century. Before then, people regarded fingerprints as ordinary curves without any specific importance or meaning. However in the Qur’an, Allah points to the fingertips, which did not attract anyone’s attention at that time, and calls our attention to their importance. This importance has only been fully understood in our day.

 

 

Scientific Fact #3  THE EXISTENCE OF MICROSCOPIC LIFE

 

Glory be to Him Who created all the pairs: from what the earth produces and from themselves and from things unknown to them. (Qur’an, 36:36)

 

And He creates other things you do not know. (Qur’an, 16:8)

 

The above verses indicate the existence of life forms unknown to people at the time of the revelation of the Qur’an. Indeed, with the discovery of the microscope, new living things too small to be seen with the naked eye have also been discovered by man. People have therefore begun to learn about the existence of these life forms, indicated in the Qur’an. Other verses which point to the existence of micro-organisms, which are invisible to the naked eye and generally consist of a single cell, read:

 

 He is the Knower of the Unseen, Whom not even the weight of the smallest particle eludes, either in the heavens or in the earth; nor is there anything smaller or larger than that which is not in a Clear Book. (Qur’an, 34:3)

 

Not even the smallest speck eludes your Lord, either on earth or in heaven. Nor is there anything smaller than that, or larger, which is not in a Clear Book. (Qur’an, 10:61)

 

There are 20 times more members of this secret world, which is spread all over the planet, micro-organisms in other words, than there are animals on Earth. These micro-organisms, invisible to the naked eye, comprise bacteria, viruses, fungi, algae and Acarina (mites and ticks). They also constitute an important element in the balance of life on Earth. For example, the nitrogen cycle, one of the fundamental components of the formation of life on Earth, is made possible by bacteria. Root fungi are the most important element in plants being able to take up minerals from the soil. The bacteria on our tongues prevent us being poisoned by food containing nitrates, such as salad stuffs and meat. At the same time, certain bacteria and algae possess the ability to make photosynthesis, the fundamental element in life on Earth, and share that task with plants. Some members of the Acarina family decompose organic substances and turn them into foodstuffs suitable for plants. As we have seen, these tiny life forms, about which we have only learned with modern technological equipment, are essential to human life.

 

Fourteen centuries ago, the Qur’an indicated the existence of living things beyond those which can be seen with the naked eye. This is another spectacular miracle contained within the verses of the Qur’an.

 

 

 

Scientific Fact # 4  CREATION FROM CLAY

 

In the Qur’an, Allah reveals that the creation of the human is a miracle. The first human being was created by Allah shaping clay into human form and breathing a soul into it:

 

Your Lord said to the angels, “I am going to create a human being out of clay. When I have formed him and breathed My Spirit into him, fall down in prostration to him!” (Qur’an, 38:71-72)

 

Then inquire of them: Is it they who are stronger in structure or other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. (Qur’an, 37:11)

 

When the human body is examined today, it may be discovered that many elements present on the earth are also to be found in the body. Living tissues contain 95% carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus and sulphur, with a total of 26 different elements. In another verse of the Qur’an we are told:

 

We created man from an extract of clay. (Qur’an, 23:12)

 

The Arabic word “sulala,” translated as “extract” in the verse, means “representative example, essence.” As we have seen, the information revealed in the Qur’an 1,400 years ago confirms what modern science tells us-the fact that the same elements are employed in human creation as those found in the soil.

Why did God protect the Holy Qur’an and not the other holy books?

The first post talked about the holy books being changed by some people. The Holy Qur’an cannot suffer the same fate as the other Holy Books. It is protected by God.

“We have sent down the Reminder, and We will preserve it” (Holy Qur’an – Surat al-Hijr: 9)

Now the question rises, couldn’t God protect the other books? The answer is of course he could. He could do anything. God knows what will happen in the future, he knew the people would change books…there was a reason why God chose to protect the Holy Qur’an, which is the last revelation by God sent to all of mankind for all times.

There are some reasons why he didn’t protect the other Holy Books…

Few of the reasons are…

1) At that time Prophets were there along with the message of the truth, and these Prophets were given the special abilities to perform certain miracles by God to prove to the people that there is a God and the message is true.

2) It was a TEST for those people to see whether they believe in the Truth and Rationality or just believe and follow their wrong desires.

3) They were purposely not protected because the Holy Qur’an was suppose to be revealed (The Last Revelation to Mankind). Other books came for certain times and certain society (e.g. In the Bible, Jesus came to the lost sheep of Israel). It is only meant for them.

4) The Holy Qur’an was revealed to the last Prophet and Messenger Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)…He was the last Prophet and there were no other Prophets coming after him. The miracle he was given by God was the Holy Qur’an itself.

5) The Holy Qur’an is a miraculous book. In the Holy Qur’an, God challenges people who don’t believe in it or doubt it, to prove it wrong. There are also many scientific things revealed in the Holy Qur’an that science could prove now. How could people know these scientific facts, not theories, but actual facts 1400 years ago? Scientists are still discovering new things from the Holy Qur’an.

I believe in the Original…Bible, Torah, and Book of Psalms !

The Holy Qur’an is the last revelation by Allah (God in Arabic) sent to mankind.

Muslims also believe that the original Bible, original Torah and original book of Psalms are books of God.

According to the Holy Qur’an, many books have been sent down by him throughout the ages to different societies or communities. At least 3 books have been mentioned by name which are: Tawrat (Torah), Zabur (Book of Psalms), Injil (The Bible).

We believe in the original version of all these books.

“He has sent down the Book to you with truth, confirming what was there before it. And He sent down the Torah and the Gospel previously, as guidance for humanity” (Holy Qur’an- Surah Al ‘Imran: 3-4)

Here in the Holy Qur’an we are told that the Torah and Gospel were sent to the previous people as guidance.

According to the Holy Qur’an, the originals have been messed with. There have been some changes made to it by some people due to their wrong desires, monetary gains etc. There is still some truth in it, but it is mixed with lies. That is why you can see a lot of similarities between Islam, Christianity and Judaism. It has the same common origin to Abraham (Peace be Upon Him).

“Woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say: ‘This is from Allah’ to sell it for a paltry price!” (Surat al-Baqara, 79).

The Holy Qur’an cannot suffer the same fate as the other Holy Books. It is protected by God.

“We have sent down the Reminder, and We will preserve it” (Qur’an – Surat al-Hijr: 9)

Are you sure you’re a good person and not just deceiving yourself? (Morals can’t be proven without a God!)

I would like to ask you…how do you know you’re a Good Person? How could you tell? How do you know what is right and what is wrong?

Many will say we do good things like “help others”…

Now the question is….how do you know helping others is a “Good Act”?

Is it because “Society” said so? Just because everyone thinks it is “Good” does that make it good? How could you tell?

Some people might answer that it “Feels Good” or “Feels Right” when you help others….

So that means your doing it just to get “GOOD FEELINGS”? Well if that is your answer…then I will need to ask “Does everything that feels good really right or good?”  

If someone just stole money, it will bring good feelings, but it doesn’t mean it is RIGHT or GOOD…

Do you actually think they were gonna steal if it wasn’t gonna somehow bring some kind of good feelings?

Even if a person is poor and he steals something, he is expecting a good feeling, the feeling of getting money to feed his stomach…”A satisfied stomach”

So how do you know you are right or wrong? Just because society said so?

Say there were a group of few people that had power to influence the majority of the people….just because they said so…is it Right? Is it Good?

You can’t say society then because society is a group of humans and we know humans could make mistakes.

Example: If there was a dilemma, there were a total of 10 people. If 7 people believed in one thing, while the other 3 believed in the other thing, who is right?

We already have proven majority does not mean that they must be right. There is a possibility they could be wrong too. Since both answers came from a human conscious, you cannot say for certain who is right.

If one person says stealing is right, and 99 others say no, we still can`t prove logically that one person is wrong just because majority is believing in it because both answers are coming from a human conscious. That is why we need a being with a higher conscious than humans that could tell us, what in fact is right and wrong.

This is where God comes in. God has told us what is right and what is wrong. If God says something is wrong and if all the humans say no it is right, logically God is right and if God says it is wrong and humans say it is right, it must be wrong.

This proves God is needed to prove morals. If you are not following God rules, then that means logically you are not a good person, regardless of what others might say about you…

The Habit of “Finding The Truth” leads to True Happiness !!!

Most of us tend to deceive ourselves so we could find short-term happiness. We don’t realize that sooner or later we will have to face the consequences of that deception.

Example: A woman asks her husband if she is fat? Say if she was fat, should the husband tell the truth or should he lie? If he tells the truth she might get upset and angry at her husband. If he lies, she will feel good. So should he tell the truth or just plain out lie?

The best option is to tell the truth. Lying doesn’t make it true, She is only deceiving herself. Sooner or later she will have to face the consequences of that lie (being fat), this could mean that she could have health problems since she kept deceiving herself and got fatter, self-esteem issues etc. If the husband would have told her the truth, sure she might have gotten upset (short-term), but she could do something about it to have a better future (long-term happiness).

Truth is Truth. You can’t build anything on falsehood. Always seek the truth even if it goes against your desires because that is the right thing to do and the only way to find true happiness.

Some people are afraid of finding the truth because sometimes it hurts. Truth could hurt sometimes, but that hurt is nothing compared to the hurt of believing in a lie. Believing in whatever you want to believe in instead of the truth,  just so you could feel good could be fatal.

Example: If I say there is a snake in a room. I say the snake could hurt you. If you believe it can’t, just because you believe doesn’t make it true. The snake could still bite and kill you. Believing in whatever you want just to make yourself feel better doesn’t mean you won’t face the consequences of believing in a lie.

Learn to question all your beliefs, no matter how scary it might be at first. There might be many things you just believed because someone told you to believe in them and they might be false.

People deceiving themselves is much more common than people might think.

Example: People believe in their religions just because their parents raised them in it. They have no idea if it is actually true or not. Many are told not to question their beliefs and just accept them. If you are not allowed to question your beliefs, that indicates there must be some “doubts” in your beliefs. If your belief was the truth, you would openly talk about it, question it, analyze it. You wouldn’t be afraid at all. If it was wrong, you would have no problem admitting it and accepting the belief that proves to be more true.

Some people deceive themselves because they start operating from emotions, not logic. It becomes more about their egos instead of finding the truth.

“It is not about who is right, it is about what is right”

Never deceive yourself because sooner or later you will pay the price. Develop the habit of “Finding the Truth” in everything, and once you find it, believe in it and act on it and that will lead you to True Happiness.

The ONLY SECRET of getting True Happiness !!!

it but very few ever really find it.

Why is Happiness such an elusive creature? We all want it but why do only a few find it? The reason is many of us look for happiness in all the wrong places. People who don’t know or don’t believe and act on this belief will not find true happiness.

The Secret:

Only in the remembrance of God can the heart find peace.” (Qur’an, 13:28)

This is it. This is the secret. You can analyze this and you will realize this is it. Throughout the ages people been searching for True Happiness, and few have found it. This secret was revealed in the Holy Qur’an.

Let me briefly give a hint about this secret of true happiness and you can ponder on it.

Whatever makes you happy, could you lose it? If you could, then that means you could lose happiness. But what can’t you lose? You could lose loved ones, wealth, reputation, fame, even yourself (e.g. insanity). If these all bring happiness and if you can lose them, then the question is, what can’t you lose?

If you haven’t guessed it already…the answer is God.

So that means if you keep God in your life and continue to praise him, remember him, worship him, you will always have true happiness, and that is a happiness you can’t lose.

If you lose everything and you have God in your life, then you have everything. If you have everything and don’t have God in your life, then you have nothing.

The Holy Qur’an has no errors or contradictions in it

The Holy Qur’an is a book from God. It is God’s own words. One proof is that it has no errors.

We know us humans are very prone to making errors, but the Holy Qur’an has no errors in it at all.

If you can find one error in it, you can end up proving the whole religion of Islam wrong. People have tried for the last 1400 years, and none of them found a single error in it.

The Secret:

Will they not ponder the Qur’an? If it had been from other than Allah, they would have found many inconsistencies in it. (Quran- Surat an-Nisa’: 82)

God mentions that the Holy Qur’an has no errors in it because it is not from human. So now you know what God wants from us.

Would You Really Be Happy If You Can Do Whatever You Want? (The Paradox Of Rules And Religion)

Many people believe that if you follow rules or religion, it will restrict you and that will make you unhappy. This belief is a paradox.

In reality, following rules will bring you happiness. Ever heard of a “Law Abiding Citizen”? What makes them special?

The answer is the values that they have, the code that they live by or should live by. It is an honor to live by a code, that honour actually brings happiness.

If you follow no rules, that will bring misery and cause chaos. If you don’t follow rules and laws, it will not only put others in danger but also yourself.

There are many people who break laws and try their best to live life according to their own rules. Why are they still unhappy, if not more, like the rest of us?

If you look into your life, haven’t there been times in your life you wanted to do something, and you did it, and right after that, you regretted it?

Why did you regret it, if you did what you wanted to?

A person can’t really follow all his desires, because some of them are evil. If a person desires to steal, hurt, or kill someone, would you do it? Since you want to, but will you still? Why or why not?

This is proof that doing whatever you want doesn’t necessarily make you happy.

There might have also been times when you wanted to do something, but you didn’t do it, and instead you did what you thought was the right thing to do, and deep down it made you feel better.

Even though you gave up your desire, you felt actually better to do the RIGHT thing, did you ever wonder why? Could it be that we were made this way?

“So set you your face steadily and truly to the Faith: (establish) God’s handiwork according to the pattern on which He has made mankind.” (Holy Qur’an – Surat al-Room, 30)
